Are Health 2.0 tools and technologies making a difference for patients and if so, how? We set out this sum- mer to track some patients as they used Health 2.0 services managing their health and everyday lives. We’ll see them on video, meet three of them on stage and see some of the technologists whose tools they used. Later, we will get commentary from a group of famous ePatients.

- Matthew Holt from San Francisco, CA, who attempted to lose weight and stay active
Participating Companies:

- Commentary from:Esther Dyson, EDventure
After we’ve heard from our patients about their experiences, we will have a special feature: Introducing the Winner of the Spring 2008 Health 2.0 Meets Ix Launch!
At our Spring conference, the crowd voted on their favorite technology and in a close-run contest, the winner was Living Profiles, an initiative of the RWJF-funded Project Health Design. Living Profiles is an innovative experiment in capturing real life communications amongst chronically ill teenagers by min- ing the hundreds of text messages they send daily.
Following this special demo, we will have reactions to the video, the patient experiences, and more from our favorite, famous ePatients.
