Spring Fling 2012: Matchpoint Boston

For 2012, the Health 2.0 Spring Fling is back in Boston on May 14-15! This year the Spring Fling will feature Health 2.0 Matchpoint. We started Health 2.0 Matchpoint at our 2011 Fall conference by bringing together industry partners with a small number of innovators. Many successful active partnership discussions have already started following those meetings.

11 hosts will meet 60 great technology companies who were selected from more than 200 applications. You should see who’s participating this year.

But that’s not all at Health 2.0 Spring Fling Matchpoint Boston, we’ll also be having the return of the sequential fireside chats, featuring big and small organizations that have partnered together in the world of Health 2.0. There’ll be panel discussions with investors and large health care customers. An exhibit hall with a dedicated rolling demo space. Presentations from the winners of the Health 2.0 Developer Challenges. And a keynote from one of the most unusual entrepreneurs in health care IT, Jonathan Bush–the CEO who turned athenahealth from a start-up into the first publicly traded cloud technology company in health care!

Health 2.0 Law

Health Law 2.0 addresses the pressing legal issues for both large and small Health 2.0 companies in the regulated world of health care. There’ll be two tracks of programming — one focused on Patient/Consumer Legal Issues and the other focused on Legal Issues with Providers, Plans and Life Sciences.

The panels we have assembled include the leading experts in each topic who will provide an overview and important updates. The panel also will work through some interactive examples of problematic arrangements and provide insight on how to avoid legal risk. In every session, there will be ample time for questions.

This is a wonderful opportunity for all Health 2.0 companies to delve deeper into the legal issues so they can make better choices as well as identify potential opportunities and capitalize on them.
