Ophelia Chiu’s most recent work has focused on development of an in-house design innovation group, exploration of telehealth technology and implementation of strategic initiatives. Her passions are around bringing the best patient experience to implementation, helping to spread innovative thinking across the organization, and bringing people from different disciplines together. With productive partnerships being essential to widespread patient advocacy, HxRefactored is excited to have Ophelia share her experience and learn her insights on how to best collaborate for better health.

Memorial Sloan Kettering has been on a journey the past 6 years to create an internal design innovation team. We’ve evolved from a startup to moving toward a sustainable program. This talk aims to share with you lessons from the healthcare provider perspective about how to make this work. I’ll share key learnings about how we’ve made this work, bumps in the road and key lessons learned.
