Pricing Details: The conference is priced in Euros. We will also be collecting the 19.6% Value Added Tax. If you pay by credit card through our system, you get a receipt and registration confirmation from the Health 2.0 system. Later you will receive an “invoice marked paid” from Basil Strategies including VAT number, etc. In most cases you should be able to reclaim some or all of this VAT back. Most Europeans will understand this process already and the rest of you may want to consult your tax advisor.
Payment Options: a) Online payment by credit card using the Health 2.0 registration system. You will be charged in dollars, which your bank will then convert back to the appropriate currency. b) Payment by bank transfer or check: If you require an invoice for the conference attendee registration, please email accounts@basilstrategies.com with your instructions so that Basil Strategies can emit the invoice. We encourage “group billing” for the participants from one company. A 100€ before tax administrative charge will be added per invoice. Registration for the participant(s) noted on the invoice will be recorded upon receipt of payment by Basil Strategies. All attendees must have paid by April 6th. Checks (or credit cards) will be accepted on site at the venue.
Academic/Govt Rate/Non-Profit* In this context, academic means university faculty, for instance paying out of a standard grant. If you’re an employee of a large hospital organization that happens to include an AMC, this doesn’t apply to you. (You can always email us to plead your case, but we’re likely to know how much your CEO makes!). Government departments and employees pay this rate too.
Privacy policy To help make the Health 2.0 Europe 2010 conference a success, we receive support from some generous (and non-risk averse!) sponsors. Both the conference organizers and some key sponsors will occasionally be contacting attendees with information before and after the event. We think that you’ll find that information interesting, but you of course may opt out of those communications at any time simply by replying to us, or any organization that contacts you directly.
Can I swap a pass with a colleague? Yes. Our passes are fully transferable. Although we’d prefer it if you both came!! Please email info@health2con.com. We’ll need the name, email address, phone and title of the person who is coming instead of you. This is OK (almost up) until the day of the meeting.
I expect to come, but my schedule is fluid and may change at the last minute. What is your cancellation policy? If you need to cancel because your schedule changes, we’re reasonable people, so please get in touch with us at info@health2con.com. If you cancel up to 45 days before the event, we’ll refund your money or credit it to the next Health2.0 Conference. After 45 days before the event, we will refund all but $300 of your fee, or you can have credit for the next Health2.0 Conference. If you cancel within 10 days, there will be no refunds, but we will give you a credit minus $200 to the next Health 2.0 Conference.* (This cancellation policy applies only to registrations, not sponsorships). But in general, please don’t cancel. Send a colleague instead!
I would like to attend but am a start up, unfunded OR newly launched company. What are my options?
