Report: The New Consumer Health Landscape
It’s 2015 and it’s the dawn of a new era in consumer health technology. Health 2.0, which we define as the set of new cloud, web, mobile, SaaS, and sensor technologies in health that are adaptable, data-driven, and focus on user experience, has developed into a thriving global movement. Yet, in some ways, this young movement has already come full circle.
In this report, we discuss:
- Why we’re finally seeing the rise of consumerism in health care after several false starts
- What factors are driving this renewed push
- How traditional health care players are adapting to this movement, particularly when it comes to the new wave of technologies that cater specifically to consumers
The 10-page report includes profiles of MyFitnessPal, Vida Health, Crossover Health, and Hi.Q, as well as analysis derived from interviews with ten key stakeholders across the space.
