More about the program: Pilot Health Tech NYC partners early-stage companies in health tech with key NYC healthcare providers to pilot and advance new technologies. The program provides up to $100,000 each to innovative pilot projects that take place in New York City. Funding defrays the costs of testing new technologies in a healthcare setting, which both validates early-stage companies in New York and helps NYC healthcare providers improve the quality of care and lower its cost. Companies that won Pilot grants in the program’s first year have gone on to raise over $150 million in private investments. Their partners included Montefiore Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
