Yes, Google still cares about health despite what you may have read. Brian manages Google’s relationships with hospitals and today he’s going to talk about Google’s new Digital Patient Journey Study, fielded in partnership with Compete. Using the records of lots of clicks (and some surveys) Brian will tell us how patients research and select a hospital through actual online behavior analysis.

Big Data Meets Real [time] People: Session 1

The advent of a new analytics for real-time data streams begs the question of how self tracking and sensor data integrate with the wider clinical evidence base and the implications for managing population health.

Tools and Unplatforms Part 1: The Data Utility Layer

In the last year the complexity of moving data has increased, but technological solutions linking data in different systems, while tackling the thorny issues of privacy, identity and permissions, are becoming more important. This panel will show some of those leading solutions, and the many unplatforms they need to connect with. (UnPlatforms comprise the next frontier in moving data between web/mobile/ubiquitous internet connected devices).
