ESRI: Big Data: Tools and Applications for Individuals

Bill Davenhall, Global Manager, Health & Human Services for ESRI, demonstrated how ESRI’s geographical information systems (GIS) and electronic health records will  bring together clinically relevant data into a more useful, personal, medical, and social context.  This application allows health providers to be better informed of their patient’s geographical contextual data affecting that person’s health.  With over four decades of leadership experience in hospitals, social service and health care, Bill challenged the audience to reexamine existing health information workflows.
