Through a variety of windows, technology companies are creating new and effective ways for practitioners to better communicate about and with their patients.

Danny is a pioneer in the world of ePrescribing, EMRs, and consumer health informatics. He¹s also a founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine and still practices primary care medicine part-time at Beth Israel Deaconess. He is passionate about patient-provider engagement and creating a scalable healthcare system that addresses the needs of not just the healthy but also those with illness.  In this segment Danny spoke of the necessity of the involvement of the patient in treatment decisions.
