Danny Sands: Patients 2.0: Between Visits

Danny Sands is a pioneer in the world of ePrescribing, EMRs, and consumer health informatics. He’s also a founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine and still practices primary care medicine part-time at Beth Israel Deaconess. He is passionate about patient-provider engagement and creating a scalable healthcare system that addresses the needs of not just the healthy but also those with illness.  Danny spoke of maintaining the patient-provider relationship in-between visits, using email as an example and in-home care technology.
