At Health 2.0 in 2008 Alex Drane founded Engage With Grace, a viral movement that encourages people to talk about end of life care. In 2010 she brought us the idea of the “unmentionables” and introduced Elizalife.org’s Ostrich Index. Now we spend every summer arguing about what’s the most unmentionable thing that we should get health and health technology people to talk about–and then Alex leads an amazing crew to talk about it–and show solutions. This year? Vulnerability, caregiving, social support, death, sex, taxes. Drane introduced the session by showing data revolving around these trends and the implications behind them.
