Christian is CEO of Emperra, a german start-up company. At Health 2.0 Europe, Christian demonstrated the first insulin pen that transfers the data wireless fully automatically in combination with a new blood glucose meter and a unique software solution.

Miguel Cabrer is VP of Clinical Imaging & Collaboration at Best Doctors. At Health 2.0 Europe, he demonstrated the inter-consultation process and how the patient is engaged from the beginning to the end. Also collaboration environment are created to allow physicians to dicuss and share about clinical cases. All virtual and cloud based. The record collection process, connection with hospitals and remote services are also integrated.

Ifty Ahmed is the CEO and Founder of Pow Health, a destination where you can manage general wellness or over 11,000 conditions in one place. At Health 2.0 Europe, he demonstrated their website demo illustrating how a person might use our platform to manage all of their health requirements.

Health 2.0 Pharma: Healthcare 42

Alexander is a self-confessed Health 2.0 and e-Patient addict. Following an academic and corporate career in pharma and digital media consulting in Germany and Canada, he is also busy completing a Ph.D at the Humboldt University in Berlin on the e-patient phenomenon in Germany. In this session Alexander will share, from his experience as a consultant and researcher, the angles not to miss to get to a more complete view of the Health 2.0 landscape in Central and Eastern Europe.

This session not only touches on social media communications applied to pharma, it showcases products that allow the pharma industry to collaborate with doctors, engage with patients, and make the most of data produced from various sources. Health 2.0 for Pharma explores opportunities, discusses best practices to avoid potential pitfalls, and covers hands-on approaches that show a shift in the industry to an increasing “healthy outcomes” ecosystem.

He shares his research results from what we believe is the first qualitative e-patient online survey and health web site analyses on a national scale ever done in Europe.
