Data Driving Healthy Communities

On the heels of a successful Healthy Communities Data Summit we brought Public Health to the Health 2.0 Fall Conference. This session brought together policy leaders from across the nation to present case studies and discuss how they are leveraging data resources to build a stronger infrastructure of health in their local communities.

CHCF: Challenge Announcement

Andy Krackov, Senior Program Officer for the California HealthCare Foundation, announced the work he has been doing with local policy makers. CHCF aims to a data display tool to use county data to make decisions at a local policy-making level.  They hosted a design-a-thon to aid in this process, and HealthBeats was the winner.
