Brad Fluegel, Executive in Residence, Health Evolution Partners
Brad is another with strong ties to the local academy, with an MPP from the Kennedy School and local health care, with time spent at Harvard Community Health Plan–before those Pilgrims showed up. For most of his career, Brad has been at big publicly traded health plans, United and Wellpoint, doing long-range strategy and looking for the next big thing. He shared with us the background, but focused on his day job at Health Evolution Partners, which is currently helping California public employees get a return on their money, while investing to try and lower overall system costs. Somehow, he finds time to lecture at Wharton too (No, that’s not part of Harvard).
