Michael Millenson, President of Health Quality Advisors, moderates this eclectic panel of physician search tools.
Jeff Cutler, Executive VP and General Manager of Vitals, demos their updated site. Vitals is a tool for patients to find, connect and prepare for their doctors appointments. Explore a physician’s patient ratings, credentials, video profiles and more!
In this panel we have Jeff Cutler from Vitals, Wendy Taylor from Medpedia, and Mark Walinske from Boundary Medical/IMI Health. They will all be discussing profile management for physicians, as well as the online education of physicians, and how their respective companies participate in these topics.
Jeff Cutler shows us Vitals, a doctor review and rating site that aids both consumers in finding doctors, and doctors in receiving feedback. Consumers can locate physicians based on specific expertise, past experiences, user reviews, and location.
Jeff Cutler, EVP, Vitals
Vitals combines information about physicians from many sources, and helped by a $4m venture round in late 2008, has emerged as a top destination for physician search and rating. Jeff’s now leading Vitals to the next level by allowing physicians to add their own information, and building multiple partnerships which help physicians and patients from other sites (and vice-versa).
Health 2.0 is not just about technology. In this panel we will be showing the latest advances in Health 2.0 tools for clinicians–and how they’re working together–and we’ll also be looking at examples of programs that have incorporated Health 2.0 technology into clinical and business operations. What results have they shown and how have those partnerships begun to reform care delivery?
Jeff Cutler, EVP & GM, Vitals
Another years, another stack of deals. Jeff’s back to show us the latest as Vitals continues to integrated its physician directory and ratings website, with virtually everyone else in the Health 2.0 world. This year they’ve bought UCompareHealthCare and Health- Leap, and have a new relationship with athenahealth too. This demo was given during the “Doctors Like Me: Provider Search for Consumers” panel at the San Francisco Health 2.0 conference in 2011.
