Anne Wojcicki @ 3 CEOs

Anne Wojcicki, Co-Founder and CEO, 23andme
Anne built 23andMe into one of the world’s largest databases of genetic information, and her team has created a community around sharing that information, as well as recruiting participants to many genome-wide studies at once. We’ve featured 23andme several times at Health 2.0 but this is the first time Anne’s been on stage with us.

Anne is interviewed by Russ Mitchell, Kaiser Health News. These days Russ focuses on Health IT for Kaiser Health news, but he’s worked for virtually every business and IT focused publication out there, including Wired, Business 2.0 and US News & World report.

West Shell @ 3 CEOs

West Shell, Chairman and CEO, Healthline
Running Healthline, which is a health destination search engine and content site, an advertising network, and an enterprise software company probably interferes with West’s career as a kayaker, skier and fly fisherman. In the last couple of years Healthline added Yahoo! to its list of customers like Aetna, Ask.com, US News & World Report, UnitedHealth Group and GE, and has been building even more complex online products. They don’t seem to have spent much of that money they raised last year so we hope today that West talks about his bigger plans for the future.

West is interviewed by Zina Moukheiber, Forbes. Zina does some of the best writing anywhere both on new health care technology companies and on corrupt middle eastern dictators and other related billionaires.

Sona Mehring @ 3 CEOs

Sona Mehring, Founder and CEO, CaringBridge
The first CaringBridge website in 1997 was coded over the weekend by Sona, to help a friend tell their friends about a high-risk pregnancy. Now the patient sites are ubiquitous across the web and promoted by hospitals, non-profits, patients groups and many more. CaringBridge’s not-for-profit status and donation funding model aren’t exactly typical at Health 2.0, and Sona explains how it’s worked so well.

Sona is interviewed by Chris Rauber, San Francisco Business Times. Chris has been following health care and doing some of the best business reporting on it for longer than he might care to admit.
